Excellent news: I’ve just received confirmation that most extended health benefits plans will cover virtual visits with a licensed naturopathic doctor.
In other words, if you have an extended health benefits plan that provides coverage for Naturopathic Medicine, then whatever your plan would cover of an in-office visit should also apply to a visit done virtually! This can include some or all of the visit fee as well as the cost of lab work and (sometimes) supplements.

Furthermore – I can direct bill most insurance companies through Telus eClaims (participating providers are listed above). This means if you’re covered by one of these insurers I can bill the covered portion of your visit directly to your insurance provider. So at best, you might not pay anything for a virtual visit! At worst, you pay the non-covered difference (and not the full amount). Interested? Book an appointment online and then download and fill out the eClaim authorization form and send the completed form my way!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out.
